refreshingly honest look at how real women genuinely feel about their
bodies - what they love about themselves, but also the lumps and bumps
that they most definitely don’t love!
A recent survey revealed that women in the UK spend an average of nine
hours a week grooming themselves, £3K a year on beauty products
and
that they have an average of 86 different beauty items in their
bathrooms. But ask any woman why she devotes so much time to her
physical appearance and she’ll struggle to answer. 98% of women are
unhappy with their bodies. So why is it that women think that they
suffer from some terrible genetic flaw that has left them with one boob
bigger than the other, cellulite or frizzy hair, when in fact they are
perfectly normal and attractive?
Filming takes place in the next few weeks and there is a very fast turn
around.

chatty,
plain speaking style (Approximately 500 words.)
A female GP is urgently
required
by a new women's magazine currently at development stage. She will need
to
provide the questions and answers to medical problems until the
publication
is up and running after which, just the answers to readers' questions
will
be required.
Sky News in West London is
looking
for a GP to cover health topics on its midday programme. The ability to
get
to their studios in Isleworth at short notice is naturally important
and
they would like to find someone who could be featured regularly to
provide
continuity. Applications from GPs who may not have much media
experience
will be welcomed.
- WHO WANTS TO LIVE
FOREVER?
The TV production
company
producing a pilot primetime programme for Sky One (Who Wants to Live
Forever?)
is still considering medical experts to play a central part in the
show.
They will be required to assess a volunteer patient and then take them
through
a series of lifestyle changes that will improve their health.
In particular, the
producer
would like to hear from GPs and experts specialising in holistic or
alternative
medicine. The filming for the programme will comprise approximately
four
days filming over a four week period, largely at weekends.
- DOCTOR
FOR CELEBRITY TV SERIES
A new prime time ITV celebrity series requires a
doctor
to oversee the care of the celebrities during January and February
2005.
Some time on screen may be required.
